Women Discuss Breaking the Glass Ceiling with Adult, Criminal Justice Students.

Do what you love. Find something you are good at. Get comfortable being uncomfortable as that is the only way you are going to grow.

That was some strong advice from some strong women. Saint Leo University’s Adult Education Center at University Campus hosted its second Criminal Justice Speaker Showcase on April 7 and the five guest speakers were women who have advanced in their law enforcement careers or in other words, “broken the glass ceiling.”

Virtual Film Fest: 5 Films for Homeland Security and Criminal Justice

As films take from daily, tragic happenings (or imagined scenarios) these themes have played a large role in movies today. Some are inspirational, some are scary and complicated, but if you aspire to be in the Criminal Justice and Homeland Security world it's important you expose yourself to these situations in any way possible (even if it’s fiction).

Besides being a thrilling way to kick back and forget about your troubles, watching these kinds of films provides an intriguing opportunity to study society in a way we might not normally be able to do. So, let’s end your vacation time by watching some movies!
